Ikea's augmented reality app, Ikea Place, already helps you to imagine its furniture in your home-- but now you can add something more for the holidays. The chain has created a new feature that helps you position your Christmas tree in exactly the right spot. Ikea Place, which launched in September, helps you place furniture virtually in your home, and the tree feature works on the same principle, adding four true-to-scale tree styles for users to choose from. (It's no doubt you'll be heading to Ikea to buy your decorations as a result) Ikea worked with agencies Space10 and TWNKLS on the user experience and development of the feature, and 72andSunny Amsterdam on the marketing campaign around it, which includes an online film, seen here, as well as GIFs and influencer activity.
