With a nod to "Ocean's Eleven" (and perhaps before that, the "A-Team"), a new film promoting Activision's forthcoming "Call of Duty WWII" sees a gang of old friends get back together to play the new game.
Director Simon McQuoid helms the spot, by 72andSunny, which starts with an office worker meekly approaching his boss about a performance review. Or so he thinks. Actually he's been called in by his friend, who informs him that "Call of Duty" is going back to World War II, and they need to "get the guys back together."
Together they assemble an eclectic crew, including one man who's assumed to be off limits as he's married with kids. There's also a dude whose partner they mistake for his mom, a mother bogged down with her little ones who opts in (following the offer of a baby-sitter) and a woman living in a blingy mansion with a hot tub. It's all set to the Royal Blood track "Figure It Out."
"Call of Duty: WWII" debuts on November 3.
