If you thought snowmen were harmless, cute, child-friendly symbols of winter -- think again.

In this spot for Nissan Rogue from Canada (where, admittedly, snow can be evil as well pretty), they turn giant and evil, attacking a driver and his car with vicious snowballs and looking decidedly unpleasant. Agency Juniper Park/TBWA called on the talents of Hey Wonderful director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan (via Toronto production company Sequoia Content,) who earned an Oscar nomination for Visual Effects on "Snow White and the Huntsman" to helm the spot, and his experience shows. Forget "Do you want to build a snowman?" -- these guys are more like monsters from a horror movie.

The spot, whose tagline is #ConquerAllConditions, is running in the U.S, as well as in Canada.
