Motocross Star Robbie Maddison Drives His Bike Straight Into the Tahitian Waves

It's been an impressive week for extreme sports ads. Lexus just made good on its promise to debut a real-life hovering skateboard, and DC Shoes has released another jaw-dropping athletics spectacular showing motocross pro Robbie Maddison fulfilling his "Pipe Dream" of surfing -- on his bike. DC Shoes, of course, is known for its outrageous Gymkhana street stunt blockbusters, but this latest film takes place in the magnificent setting of the Tahitian coast. In the video, Mr. Maddison rides a special bike rigged with wakeboard-like bottoms through the jungle and straight into the bright blue waters, where he roars past kayakers and surfers to finally, take on a big wave of his own.
