Ryan Reynolds is no stranger to promoting his Aviation Gin brand with fellow celebrities (for example, his efforts with friend/rival Hugh Jackman and the latter's Laughing Man coffee play on their online '"feud"). And in his latest spot he teams up with the celebrity owners of two rival drinks brands—but it's all in the name of a good cause.

The spot features David Beckham, a co-owner of Haig Club whisky, with Sean Combs aka Diddy, owner of DeLeón Tequila Owner. They appear alongside Reynolds and his Aviation Gin (all three brands are actually owned by Diageo). The premise is that they're creating a special cocktail for watching the Super Bowl that mixes all three drinks—but surprise surprise, when they try it, it's disgusting. (To quote Combs: "It tastes like ass feet.")

Which only serves to underline the message of the spot: mixologists matter. The spot highlights the fact that Diageo will be donating $1 million to three organizations Another Round, Another Rally, Bartender's Benevolent Fund and Drinks Trust UK to support the bartending community in the ongoing pandemic.

Created via Reynolds' agency Maximum Effort, the campaign is being supported by social posts from all three celebrities.
