Paranormal Activity : Sarah's Home
The world of freaky.
Editor's Pick
A "viral" marketing campaign for Paramount's horror franchise Paranormal Activity is making the rounds on the interwebz. The cornerstone of the campaign is a series of "home videos" (which, if you ask us, could do with some toning down of production values to make them look more realistic) filmed by one Mr. Jacob Degloshi, as he moves himself and his family to a new -- we presume haunted -- home.
It all started when Mr. Degloshi found a VHS tape in his daughter Sarah's luggage. The tape's contents are also available on YouTube. There is no Degloshi character in the PA franchise, but according to DreadCentral, the Sarah character is seen in one of the films.
Mr. Degloshi is a single dad, who, according to his Facebook profile, lives in Henderson, Nev. He's installing security cameras around his new abode and the profile, as well as a pretty interesting Twitter feed, has him reporting about "freaky noises" and a "earthquake" that woke up at night. In PA style, the cameras will no doubt capture some of the unearthly goings-on around the house.
