Nike Revisits 'Animal House' to Celebrate Oregon Ducks Fans
Fun Film Pays Homage to Brand, and Agency's, Local Team

If you're an Oregon Ducks fan, you'll know that before the fourth quarter of every home game, the "Shout" scene from "Animal House" plays on the jumbotron. This tradition was born from the fact that the iconic frat-house movie "Animal House" was filmed on the University of Oregon campus.
This fun spot, created by Nike and W&K Portland in homage to their local team, recreates that scene from the film -- but with ex-Oregon athletes playing the part of the toga party-goers. Marcus Mariota takes the infamous John Belushi role, and the band Otis Day and the Knights even reprises "Shout" from the original.
David Gordon Green of Chelsea Pictures directed the five-minute film, which ran during Saturday's game between the Ducks and the Michigan State Spartans. It'll appeal to connoisseurs of the movie even if you don't know who the athletes are -- and it's a great way for Nike (and indeed W&K) to bond with its local fans.
