NFL pro Tom Brady, fellow New England Patriot Julian Edelman and actor Jeff Bridges enjoy some serious downtime in a hilarious series of spots for Ugg for Men.
Created out of Camp & King and directed by Jeff Low of Biscuit Filmworks, the campaign centers on a man's right to "Do Nothing" and kicked off with the digital video "Song." In it, Bridges sits on the couch alongside a sleeping Brady, serenading him softly with an acoustic version of "Buffalo Gals" that takes an unexpectedly energetic turn.
Set in a rustic, lodge-like dwelling, other spots feature Bridges enjoying the attendance of butler drones and doing a private dance. Another shows Brady, again at rest, while Edelman is all over the place trying to keep himself occupied amidst all the serenity.
Brady has been the Ugg for Men spokesperson since 2011, and in that time, the brand has seen its men's business grow more than 150%, according to a statement from the company.
"The idea of 'Do Nothing' started last fall when I had a rare Sunday to watch football since we opened the season on a Thursday night," Mr. Brady said in the statement. "I relaxed on the couch wearing my favorite UGG slippers. I posted a photo on Facebook and it was history from there. As an athlete I know firsthand the importance of sometimes taking time out to do nothing - it helps me recharge and perform when I'm on the field."
