Songs for Someone VR Experience

Music video director and virtual reality impressario Chris Milk has collaborated with U2 to create a VR "visual interpretation" of U2's "Song for Someone" for Apple Music. You can watch it using Google Cardboard and a smartphone loaded with the (free) Vrse app.

The immersive music video starts with Bono singing to you in a nearly empty stadium; look around (by moving your head to the left and right) and you'll find Bono's bandmates stationed around you, playing their instruments. That setting quickly and seamlessly transitions into scenes shot around the world -- from India to Israel -- featuring a multiethnic cast virtually duetting with U2. According to a statement from Milk's company VRSEWorks, his intention was to take "singers from all walks of life and harmoniously blend them with the bend inside the VR space."
