Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. Do 'Dirty Dancing' in the NFL's Super Bowl Ad
Giants Teammates Have Nothing Better to Do During the Super Bowl
Feb 04, 2018
Last year, He-Man and Skeletor paid tribute to Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey's famous dance scene from "Dirty Dancing" in an ad for Moneysupermarket.com that went viral, but for the Super Bowl, Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. offered their own rendition of the classic routine in an NFL spot created out of Grey New York that aired during third quarter of the game.
The ad is meant to highlight how other NFL players like the NY Giants keep themselves busy when they're not playing in the big game. It was the climax to a series of teasers building up to the moment throughout the game, including one in which Manning, unfortunately, loses a big bet.
Manning and Beckam's teammates including Brett Jones, John Greco and Chad Wheeler join them on the dance turf in a performance conceived by "Hamilton" choreogapher Stephanie Klemons. Aaron Stoller of Biscuit Filmworks directed.
