Polish auction site Allegro tells the charming tale of a little boy and his lucky tailsman in its holiday film this year.

In the spot, created by Bardzo in Warsaw and directed by Jesper Ericstam of Social Club, the boy is given the talisman purse by his parents as a gift, bought online from Allegro as he's pretending to be a native American in a teepee. It appears to be bringing him luck; he falls out of a tree and is not hurt, the girl he likes sits next to him on the schoolbus, he's saved from trouble at school by a lucky bell and manages to evade school bullies. His soccer team even wins-- and everyone at school wants the talisman. However, is the purse really the talisman? Or could it be the local vagrant, who's always around at opportune moments? Eventually, the boy makes his decision.

The same agency and director combination made last year's holiday spot for Allegro, about an elderly man learning English, which won a Grand Prix at Epica in Berlin last week, and was also awarded at Cannes.
