The ongoing rivalry between left Twix and right Twix in the candy bar's latest campaign is heating up again in the manner of Donald Trump vs. Nancy Pelosi. In the latest spot from the Mars brand, a passive-aggressive coffee machine will only serve those who are eating a left Twix. For the beleaguered right Twix person, it's out of order. Just for him. Whether or not this is a political commentary on America's current situation, we're not sure (although the PR's note, saying that "any competing press release from Right Twix claiming they are 'The perfect partner for coffee' is, regretfully, 'fake news'" would suggest it could be). The ad is directed by Brian Billow of O Positive for BBDO New York.
