While Amazon, Netflix and Hulu are bloodying each other’s noses with large investments in original content, streaming video platform Vimeo has launched a new royalty-free marketplace for stock video footage.
To promote Vimeo Stock, the brand commissioned some of its best creators to use the video database to make whatever they wanted. This 30-second spot by Amy Kawabata and Luke Shock is one of the results, as is a narrative film by Raphael Rogers.
Vimeo Stock is available in more than 150 countries and features clips from creators like Rodgers, Armand Dijcks, animator Hannah Jacobs, and production company Eyeforce. The promo videos are running on Vimeo’s blog and social channels.
