Telecommunications company Virgin Media has released an uplifting new ad in the U.K. showing British people finding new ways to cope with the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. 

The spot was created by Adam&Eve/DDB using clips gathered from social media over the past couple of weeks. Set to the track "Keep your head up" by Ben Howard, it depicts how technology has allowed people to stay connected—they vlog, hold video calls, work out or do schoolwork together remotely and more.

Other footage includes scenes of last Thursday's "#clapforcarers" campaign, when people around the country applauded for healthcare workers at 8 pm out of their windows, and of a paramedic becoming emotional when she finds someone has left her a gift on her car.
