Piles of dirty laundry and messy kitchens? No problem. For anyone embarrassed about the aesthetic state of their home while it’s inhabited by kids, spouses and pets—all at the same time—West Elm has a creative answer. The home furnishings retailer recently rolled out a series of downloadable virtual backgrounds designed to impress coworkers on video conference calls.

West Elm announced the options, which include real-life living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens formerly featured on its site, with a post on its blog, Front + Main. It includes instructions on how to change a background on Zoom from the generic to the mid-century modern. Some options are “NYC Waterfront Views with a Big Ol’ Bird of Paradise” and “Chic and Modern City Kitchen.” There’s even the possibility of pretending you have a dog (though the pup will look curiously static during your calls). Just be careful you match the real-life weather outside with what’s pictured virtually. West Elm’s homes are all sunny skies.
