You're on tropic time

“You’re on Tropic Time Now” was born as a direct answer to our target’s need for escape. This brand mantra invited guests on an everyday getaway with every bite, sip, and interaction. The brand voice, look, and feel were inspired by the bright, bold culture of Miami Beach - filled with upbeat music, dancing, good vibes, and fun. The campaign declared: No matter where you are, you’re always on Tropic Time with TSC!

Then COVID hit. All in-restaurant dining was shut down, and all our planning was thrown into chaos. Sales plummeted 38%. We knew we had to pivot. This campaign was no longer about driving sales; it was about keeping 900 small-business owners afloat. What was a brand campaign, was now a rescue mission.

With a little social listening, we knew our target needed an everyday getaway now more than ever. TSC was the antidote to lockdowns and negativity. “You’re on Tropic Time Now” was the injection of sunshine and positivity the world needed.
