Crown Forklifts - Noah's Ark

Crown Forklifts - Noah's Ark This ad appears to have run during Super Bowl XIV only in certain markets, which disqualifies it from Ad Age's modern criteria for a "Super Bowl ad": a national spot in one of the commercial breaks between the coin toss and the final whistle. But Crown Forklifts' retelling of Noah's Ark is so firmly Super Bowl-ian in its creative concept and ambition that we're including it here as an example of what would follow.(Speaking of what TV to come, look out for the lightening-quick cameo by a heavily bearded George Wendt, who in 1980 was still yet to become famous as a beloved barfly on "Cheers.")For another regional spot that we let into the Super Bowl Ad Archive anyway, see Heineken's"Brad Pitt"from 2005.BRAND:Crown ForkliftsYEAR:1980SUPERBOWL:XIV
