In its first Super Bowl commercial, freelance platform Fiverr featured Four Seasons Total Landscaping, which rose to fame when Rudy Giuliani infamously held a press conference outside its office during the 2020 presidential election.
Although Fiverr is a resource for both freelancers and businesses, the company used its 30-second Big Game spot to focus on the role it played in helping businesses during the pandemic.
The commercial centers on Marie Siravo, Four Seasons Total Landscaping’s owner and president, as she reveals a fantastical, bustling world of landscaping behind that now-famous door where Giuliani stood.
During the ad, Siravo lists some of the jobs posted on Fiverr, such as graphic design, web development and “even a PR expert for things like, I don’t know, booking a press conference.”
The ad was directed by Nick Ball via MJZ.
