Hellmann’s first Super Bowl ad starred Amy Schumer as a “Fairy Godmayo,” appearing in an unsuspecting snacker’s kitchen to help repurpose leftovers into tasty Super Bowl snacks.
The ad from Wunderman Thompson was part of a larger Hellmann's effort to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of cutting food waste 50% by 2030.
It was created by director, screenwriter and producer Peter Farrelly, who won 2019 Academy Awards and Golden Globe honors, among others, for the film “Green Book.”
This was the first time a mayo brand advertised in the Big Game.
