Looks like one of the Keebler elves put some cookies in the wrong box. The Kellogg Co. brand today said it is recalling 17,000 eight-count cartons of Fudge Shoppe Jumbo Fudge Sticks sold at convenience stores because the boxes mistakenly contain Jumbo Peanut Butter Sticks. Oops.
There is a serious side, though. The FDA is warning people with peanut allergies to beware, although the agency notes that the individual packages are labeled correctly -- so the elves at least got that right.
So far, no allergic reactions have been reported, Kellogg says on its website.
