Quad Media hires first-ever president from UM
Quad has appointed a former UM executive as the first-ever president of its media arm, Quad Media. Joshua Lowcock is taking on the role after most recently serving as a chief media officer for Interpublic Group of Cos.’ UM. Prior to that, he worked at MediaVest, where he led the company’s Walmart digital team, and before that was head of commercial products and platforms at News Corp.
“The holding company model is broken, and I am fascinated by how Quad is approaching this problem by bringing marketers an end-to-end solution,” Lowcock said in a statement.
Chips Ahoy! launches virtual multicultural museum
Chips Ahoy! is providing a national platform for people of color to share art and creativity in the virtual world. In partnership with Hollywood costume designer Ruth E. Carter, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, the “Happy by Design” campaign uses augmented reality to provide a national platform to showcase art created by multicultural artists.
