Midwest agency notches New York win Chicago independent shop Laughlin Constable was named creative agency of record for the Bronx Zoo and New York Aquarium, both part of the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), following a competitive review. New York-based Six+One had held the business for six years. The appointment comes after the Bronx Zoo celebrated its 125th anniversary in November. Laughlin Constable’s first efforts will focus on “re-imagining” the zoo in a brand campaign, the agency said. Inside BarkleyOKRP’s new service BarkleyOKRP has launched a new media brand. MissionOne Media was born out of the agency’s media practice and digital performance marketing agency Adlucent, which the shop acquired in May. MissionOne Media will be led by President Sean Corcoran, who joined BarkleyOKRP in August after serving as U.S. CEO of Interpublic Group’s Mediahub. The agency currently manages $1 billion in billings and works with brands including AMC, The Vitamin Shoppe, Global Industrial, National Pork Board and Rawlings. It has 200 employees. The new two-year contract, which came without a competitive review, will cover 100 markets, including Mexico, Brazil, the U.K., Italy, Germany, Spain and India. Also: Look back at more than 50 years of winners Just briefly Jonathan Cude, the longtime creative leader of McKinney, has joined TBC as chief creative officer, a new role. Cude spent 16 years as chief creative officer at McKinney before moving up to creative chairman last March. Bakery promoted Jacqueline Thompson to the new role of chief operating officer. Thompson, who will also serve as managing partner, was formerly managing director at the Austin, Texas-based indie. Lumber Liquidators named Pinnacle Advertising as its first agency of record, handling creative, media and more. The move follows the company’s acquisition by private equity firm F9 Investments and return to its original name after LL Flooring’s bankruptcy.
