Brandon creative director on leadership and the power of indie agencies

From digital design to coding, his ability to adapt has helped him lead Brandon’s creative team across sectors including consumer goods, telecom and finance. Scott’s path to creative leadership began with an internship at FCB San Francisco (now known as FCB West), where his persistence paid off. “I asked why they picked me, and they said, ‘Honestly, you just kept calling us the most,’” he shared. Now at Brandon, Scott aims to foster a collaborative, hands-on culture. He was recognized by Business Insider as one of the 50 Rising Stars of Madison Avenue in 2021, and his portfolio includes work for major marketers, including Pepsi, Verizon, Lenovo and Bud Light. At Brandon, Scott leads creative efforts for brands, including Primal Pet Foods, Idahoan Foods and Capital Vacations, while leveraging emerging technologies like generative AI to elevate client work.
