John Moore, the global CEO of Mediahub, is set to leave after 28 years at the IPG Mediabrands agency.
Moore, who joined Mediahub as media director in 1997, will exit the agency and retire from advertising in late March, he confirmed. Interpublic Group of Cos. and Mediahub agreed on his departure around early fall last year—giving the agency enough time to notify clients and integrate new U.S. CEO Nicole Estebanell, Moore said.
“This is a taxing business … It’s time for me to pass the baton and move on,” Moore said. “I owe it to myself and my wife.”
It wasn’t immediately clear whether Moore would be replaced.

Moore said his current role is “still a work in progress” and noted that Mediahub has strong global leadership in place, including Estebanell, EMEA and APAC CEO Ross Jenkins and Australia and New Zealand CEO Sue Squillace.
Mediahub had a “really good” 2024, Moore added.
