Quality Experience to close after the death of founder Ari Weiss

The top leaders at Quality Experience are closing the agency following the death of founder Ari Weiss last month. “Following the profound loss of our partner, Ari Weiss, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to move on from Quality Experience at the end of March,” said Dan Gonda, CEO, Colleen Leddy, chief strategy officer, and Cristina Reina, chief creative officer, in a statement. “Ari’s vision was the foundation of this agency—a relentless pursuit of bold, culture-shaping creativity that challenged the industry to think bigger. His influence lives on, and his legacy will continue to inspire us,” they said. Weiss launched Quality Experience in early 2024 after almost seven years in top roles at DDB. He soon brought in Gonda, Leddy and Reina to round out the leadership team. The agency produced compelling work for clients including Shutterfly and Tonal in 2024. Weiss died in February after a long battle with cancer. “We are incredibly proud of the work we created, the partnerships we forged, and the impact we made in the short year we had together,” Gonda, Leddy and Reina said. “To our clients, collaborators, and everyone who believed in what we were building—thank you.
