Tinuiti is making a habit of appearing on the list of Best Places to Work. The digital performance marketing company plays a role in one of the most vibrant sectors of online marketing, operating at the intersection of commerce, data and advertising. In 2020, Tinuti’s flexible work culture allowed it to take on the challenges of COVID-19, which forced companies into the deep end of online commerce in an effort to keep up with rising demand from people shopping from home.
Best Places to Work 2021: Tinuiti
Tinuiti’s marketing intelligence service helps brands manage their marketing campaigns and connect them to sales. As such, the company was well-poised to capitalize on the changing dynamics in the marketplace and the business was suited for the new reality of remote working. Tinuiti has more than 600 employees and already had a flexible work-from-home policy. Before the pandemic, 40% of the company was working remotely, which soon became 100%.
Tinuiti also offers unlimited paid time off, but this year it also implemented a mandatory monthly mental-health day to fight burnout.
The firm says it plans to redouble its efforts on diversity, equity and inclusion and set a goal of doubling the representation of Black employees “at all levels” in the next three years. The company created a full-time position for a diversity and inclusion leader to help reach that goal.
Tinuiti’s roster of clients sounds like a “who’s who” of brands that met the challenges of 2020. Tinuiti has worked with e.l.f. (eyes lips face) cosmetics, Etsy, The Honest Co., Rite Aid, Converse and others. One of Tinuiti’s most in-demand areas of expertise is Amazon. Advertising dollars are pouring into Amazon, generating $17.64 billion worldwide in 2020, according to eMarketer, up from $12.82 billion in 2019. Firms like Tinuiti are riding that boom.
