M&C Saatchi has named Maria Smith as an executive creative director, after nearly a decade at the agency as a creative director and copywriter, working on the San Diego Zoo and Epson accounts. Prior to that, she did digital advertising at TBWA Tequila and TBWA Chiat Day, for brands including. Nissan, Infiniti, Sony and Energizer.

Droga5 has added Creative Directors Jillian Goger, Matt Swinburne, Jake Shaw, Ash Tavassoli, Ray Smiling and Ryan Raab; and Design Director Michael Kleinman.
Goger and Swinburne both moved from McCann Erickson. Goger spent nine years working on Dentyne Gum, MasterCard, and Verizon. Swinburne was there for 18 months, working on The New York Lottery, Verizon, and USPS. He also spent time at Mother, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Silver & Partners.
Shaw worked at BBDO Germany and New York, creating campaigns for brands including Mercedes, Braun, Mars Group, PepsiCo, Gillette, Visa and GE.
Tavassoli moved from BBDO New York, where he worked on Visa, GE, Campbell's and M&M's Chocolates.
Smiling spent a year at 72andSunny working on Adidas' global campaigns for football, soccer and basketball. He was also at R/GA on Beats By Dre and Rockstar Games.
Raab re-joins Droga5 after one year at BBDO New York, where he worked on Foot Locker and Priceline. He also spent time at Mother and CP&B.
Kleinman has been at AnalogFolk, Droga5 Sydney and also at M&C Saatchi as a digital design director. He has worked on Oscar Mayer and McDonald's.

Attention, a social media agency, has appointed Asif Khan, Tim Gunatilaka, and Ben Krantz as VP of strategy and analytics; director of content; and creative director, respectively.
Khan most recently led the strategy department at Vice Media's Carrot Creative and other agencies. Gunatilaka was head of content innovation at OMD, doing work for Entertainment Weekly, Spin and Paper Magazine. Previously, Krantz served as associate creative director at Tribal Worldwide and Publicis.

Possible has made several new appointments. Ben Bashford becomes head of user experience, from chief design officer for the Boiler Room, on projects for Android, Google and Method.
New UX Designers Ilse Christiansen and Jules Spanou will join Visual Designer Liam Thomas. Christiansen spent the last nine months at Razorfish, designing the e-commerce user experience for Grand Vision. Prior to that, she worked at Code and Theory, for Savoir F20lair and Man City. Spanou was a project assistant at Domus Academy, and has worked at startups as a UX designer and at Net-a-Porter. Thomas was at digital shop 360i.

Paula Beer Levine has been promoted to managing director at Walrus. She joined in 2008 after several years working as a marketing consultant.

Head of Integrated Production Valerie Hope was promoted to director of integrated production and creative services. Before joining the firm in 2012, she founded Backbone Productions. The two are former partners at Mad Dogs & Englishmen.

Experience design agency Hush has hired Technology Director Justin Martin. He spent two years at The Barbarian Group, where he was a senior developer who worked with Google, Samsung, IBM and Intel.
