The deadline for this year’s Young Creatives Contest is coming up fast, with just three weeks left to enter.

If you’re a student, agency creative, or freelancer aged 30 or under, this free global competition is your chance to show off your skills—and maybe land yourself a trip to the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

This year’s contest centers on Cannes Eau on the Go, a fictional sparkling water brand developed with consumer insights platform Zappi. Your challenge? Bring this product to life with a bold, original creative execution. The brief includes a few helpful details to get you started—including the target audience, some background on the product and an image of the bottles—where you take it is completely up to you.

Not sure where to start? There’s no single right approach—use your strengths and focus on what you do best. What matters most is that your idea is original and memorable.

Art directors and designers can shape the brand’s identity—logo, color palette, typography—or create a print ad, packaging design or out-of-home execution.

Copywriters might lead with a sharp tagline or make the messaging the core of the idea.

Motion designers and videographers can introduce movement through a GIF, short-form video or animation.

More hands-on? Consider building something physical and submitting a photograph of it.

We’re looking for bold, fresh and engaging ideas, accompanied by a brief explanation that clearly outlines your idea and how it connects to the product.

The winner and finalists will be notified in May, featured in Ad Age in June and celebrated at the annual Ad Age Lawn Party in Cannes on June 18.

Visit AdAge.com/YoungCreatives to get more details and fill out the entry form. Entries are due by April 21, 2025, at 5 p.m. ET.
