Burger King x KFC
The rival fast-food chains are teaming up for a rare collaboration in France that includes a shared product, the BFF Burger (Best Friends Forever). A flame-grilled meat version will be sold at BK and a crispy chicken version at KFC. A musical spot from agency Buzzman asks, “Why can’t we be friends?”
Clan Campbell
The whisky brand’s first international campaign features two black-and-white films that tap into Scottish humor while demonstrating how the whisky is crafted. Publicis Conseil led creative.
Iams
The pet food brand created a giant balloon of an overweight dog named Waylon who got stuck between two buildings in Chicago ahead of the city’s Thanksgiving parade. Adam&eveDDB created the stunt to warn pet parents of the health dangers facing overweight dogs.
Katz’s Delicatessen
The famed New York deli released its first official commercial, created through a unique barter arrangement with Nicolas Heller, aka New York Nico, who wanted to use the restaurant as his wedding venue.
Mattie’s Place
Publicis Toronto worked with Mattie’s Place, a volunteer-run pet rescue group, to create the “Pet-ition,” a petition signed by pets to help animals become recognized as sentient beings instead of as property, in order to afford them additional protections in Canada. The campaign has made its way all the way to the House of Commons.

A blind taste test held by agency DCX Growth Accelerator aimed to find out if knowing about a brand’s values actually affects people’s experience of a product. (Spoiler: It does.)
Roto-Rooter
As people gear up for the Thanksgiving feast of their lives, Roto-Rooter is preparing for “Brown Friday” with a spoof horror movie trailer teasing the terrors that await toilets, pipes and plumbers everywhere this week. The spot was created by Doe-Anderson.
Save Wild Tigers
Actor Ray Winstone speaks for wild tigers as they hurtle toward extinction in this powerful six-minute film. “Ray the Rug” was crafted by creative agencies Monster Sauce and Worth Your While and visual effects agency Smoke & Mirrors Bangkok.
Toyota Australia
A comic campaign from Saatchi & Saatchi pitches the Toyota HiLux as the proper vehicle for towing jobs, as illustrated in hyperbolic fashion by a number of other vehicles stuck in the mud. The spot was directed by Tim Bullock at Scoundrel.
Waitrose
The U.K. grocery chain resolves its two-part Christmas mystery “Sweet Suspicion” by revealing just who stole the No. 1 Red Bauble Dessert. Actor Matthew Macfayden plays the detective in the series by Saatchi & Saatchi. See both spots below.
