Burger King drops ‘Whopper Whopper’ track for duets, karaoke and singalongs

Sing it your way. In a move that acknowledges the phenomenal buzz around its updated jingle, Burger King is making a karaoke version of “Whopper Whopper” available on social media platforms such as TikTok, allowing creators to make their own interpretations of fast food’s catchiest earworm. A new ad explains in verse that Burger King won’t be running a Super Bowl ad, but that it’s appreciative of the tsunami of memes and remixes that have accompanied the campaign since it launched this fall. (Burger King last ran a Super Bowl ad in 2019.) The release of a karaoke version follows the brand dropping two versions of the track on Spotify earlier this week. The ad comes from Burger King and OKRP, the agency that won the brand’s account last year. The new ad, “Big Game, Big Game,” will air on television today through pre-game on Sunday with a strategic ad buy facilitated in partnership with Burger King’s media agency, PHD.
