Clean Age is also available in Rite Aid and other stores, but it entered Walmart after winning the retailer’s Open Call pitch competition. Clean Age promotes its Gen Z-targeted products as “gender-inclusive, cruelty-free, vegan, and sold in responsibly sourced paper packaging.” Jean Dousset: This DTC lab-grown diamond jewelry brand is opening a flagship store in West Hollywood. To promote the California store’s opening, Jean Dousset is running its first-ever out-of-home campaign, continuing the trend of retail-driven OOH placements for DTC brands. Glossier: The direct-to-consumer beauty brand is expanding its U.S. and Canada Sephora partnership to the U.K., with Glossier entering London’s Sephora store after reported success in North America, as reported by Cosmopolitan. Momofuku Goods: On Wednesday, the DTC brand that sells some of Momofuku restaurant group’s signature ingredients (think: seasonings and air-dried noodles), announced a new $11.5 million funding round led by growth equity firm Alliance Consumer Growth. On Thursday, The Sill announced a “WeFunder” crowdfunding campaign, inviting its customers to invest in the brand yet again, more than 10 years after it got its first $12,000 of funding via a Kickstarter campaign, according to a company spokesperson.
