Still G.I.N. collaborated with the agency Rosewood Creative, director Dave Meyers and the entertainment-focused generative AI company Metaphysic on the ad. The three worked closely with the estates of Sinatra and Davis to ensure what the brand called “a faithful representation that honors how Frank and Sammy would have carried themselves.”
A 30-second version of the spot will debut tonight during the finale of NBC’s “The Voice,” which features Snoop as a coach.
The Still G.I.N. brand is an 85-proof bottled gin and the second product from the duo famous for their 1990s raps. They released a canned gin-based cocktail, Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop, earlier this year. “Gin & Juice” refers to the Snoop hit from 1994 that was produced by Dre; the new product references Dr. Dre’s song “Still D.R.E.” from 2001.
