The issue, the cover of which had not been determined by today, will run an ad-free 68 pages; 590,000 copies will be distributed to newsstands.
In the wake of the events of Sept. 11, U.S. News, which for the first six months of the year averaged around 42,000 in newsstand sales each week, rushed out to newsstands 500,000 copies of a special issue.
