Yahoo! presents Yahoo! Digital

Yahoo! launched Yahoo! Digital, a new multimedia digital site. The new Yahoo! Broadcast Services destination provides the capability to watch and listen to Internet broadcasts from musicians; preview music as well as download and purchase both secure and open audio files, including MP3; remix selected music tracks online; view on-demand video channels; interact with artists through Net Events; and browse a licensed music directory. Starting Aug. 30, users also will be able to self-publish and sell their own music online, along with partners Beatnik, Emusic.com and Liquid Audio. Copyright August 1999, Crain Communications Inc.
