RSA has signed director Drake Doremus in the U.S. and U.K. A feature director whose film work includes "Like Crazy," Doremus's commercial work includes Toshiba's "The Beauty Inside" which received three Grand Prix awards at the Cannes Lions festival, as well as a 2013 Daytime Emmy Award. Other commercial projects include work for Google, Samsung, Tylenol, and Facebook. Doremus is currently in post-production on "Equals," a futuristic love story starring Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart and executive produced by Ridley Scott.

O Positive has signed director Brian Billow for commercial representation globally. Comedy specialist Billow's recent work includes Netflix's "You Gotta Get It to Get It" campaign via DDB Vancouver, the Webby-winning viral "Beth" and Miracle Whip's "Keep an Open Mouth." Billow is currently in production on a short film about the world's worst paparazzo photographers.
Marcus Nispel has signed with production house Gartner for commercial projects in the U.S. Nispel has directed music videos for the likes of Elton John, Puff Daddy and No Doubt as well as commercials for Mercedes, Gatorade, Coca-Cola, Nike, Levi's, MTV, L'Oreal, and others. His awards include Clios, ADC, and Grand Prix at the BDA, MTV Award and AICP Awards.
Integrated production company Acne has hired Josh Tenser as executive producer in its London office. He was previously at BBH London, where he headed interactive production, and prior to that was head of production-executive producer at Stink Digital. He has worked on projects for brands such as Axe, Diesel and Skittles, and produced work that garnered a dozen Cannes Lions.
Director and photographer Simon Stock has signed with London creative content studio Squire for representation. He has directed commercials for the likes of Discovery Channel, Mercedes, Toyota and Volvo, as well as ITV's World Cup soccer campaign. Photography work includes British Airways, HSBC and Castlemaine XXXX.
Editor Kevin Zimmerman has joined the roster at Spot Welders in L.A. He has worked on commercials for Bud Light, Taco Bell, Jell-O, X-Box, Hotels.com, Capital One and others. Zimmerman joins from NO6 in Santa Monica; prior to that he was with The Whitehouse, also in L.A. He got his start at Mad River Post, where he was as an assistant before becoming a full-time editor.
The Sweet Shop has signed Danish director Tore Frandsen to its global roster. His work includes spots for Olympus, Nokia, Shell, Lego, and Coca-Cola among others. Earlier in his career, Frandsen started his own production company, Fandango Film, where he wrote, pitched, shot, and directed all his own content before being signed by Denmark's biggest commercial company, BaconCPH.
Framestore has hired Alberto Mielgo as design director based in Los Angeles. Mielgo's work has included serving as art director and production designer for Disney's "Tron Uprising," which won him a Primetime Emmy Award and an Annie Award in 2013 in the Best Art Direction category. Other film work includes "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1."
Production company ShootersINC has changed its name to Alkemy X; all its divisions, including ShootersTV, ShootersNYC, Dive & Bigsmack will be rebranded. The company has also expanded its space in New York and made new hires including VP, Development for Content Don Sikorski (pictured) Executive Producer Susie Shuttleworth, Creative Director Bex Schwartz, and 3D Visual Effects Supervisor Dave Zeevalk.
Seattle-based animation studio The Academy has signed German animation team We Think Things, consisting of Pascal Monaco and Felix Mayer, for commercial representation. The duo has worked on motion design for Coca-Cola, Toyota, Clariant and other brands.
Native Pictures has signed Ben Briand, Ruben Latre, Luca Guadagnino, Sophie Edelstein and Prmry for U.S. representation in commercials and content. In addition, Native has opened feature film division Cota with film producer Michael Costigan, who will also be its executive producer. Costigan has worked as producer on movies including "Brokeback Mountain," and was president of Ridley and Tony Scott's Scott Free, where he first met Native's Managing Partner/Executive Producer Tomer DeVito (pictured), from 2005 until2012.
Post production company Glassworks London has hired Jordi Bares as creative director and Paul Schleicher as head of production. Bares and Schleicher have previously worked together at The Mill and then Realise Studio, in a creative /production partnership.
