As antisemitic incidents surged in 2023, the “#StandUpToJewishHate” campaign from the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism addressed one of the core issues perpetuating the violence—the fact that not many people believe antisemitism is prevalent at all.
VML and Mindshare developed a blue square as a core symbol of the campaign, representing the size of the Jewish population (2.4%) relative to the entire U.S. population. A hero spot showed that despite the small size of the group, Jewish people experience 55% of all hate crimes.
