Bryan Buckley’s films for Change the Ref were culture-stopping moments in 2021. The campaign, made with agency Leo Burnett, led former National Rifle Association officials to believe they would be presenting a commencement speech for a graduating class. Instead, they were met with 3,044 empty seats, representing the “Lost Class” of students who died in gun violence.
