Top Cannes agency awards go to Ogilvy, Publicis Conseil, Rethink and WPP

In addition to giving out the final Grand Prix of the festival, the annual creative-company awards were handed out Friday at Cannes Lions. Publicis Conseil was named Agency of the Year. Rethink was named Independent Agency of the Year. And Ogilvy was honored as Network of the Year. The prizes were bestowed based on total points from Lions won during the weeklong Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. WPP was was honored as Creative Company of the Year. Smuggler picked up the Palme d’Or as best production company. And Coca-Cola edged out Heineken and Apple to be named Creative Brand of the Year. (See a full list of winners below.) Cannes Lions coverage See all of the Grand Prix winners here Top 5 Grand Prix campaigns Ogilvy said 36 offices globally contributed to the agency winning a total of 75 Lions, including four Grand Prix, one Titanium, 11 Gold, 16 Silver and 43 Bronze. “Great agencies are made by brave clients and passionate people who relentlessly pursue creative ideas that change the world and solve big business problems. It takes trust, collaboration, and partnership,” said Liz Taylor, Ogilvy’s global chief creative officer. “We could not be prouder of Ogilvy’s global network for demonstrating that.
