Tito’s: Tito’s in a Can Agency: Arts & Letters Creative Co. Amid the glut of canned spirits emerges yet another competitor—Tito’s in a can. But it’s not what you think. The new offering from the vodka brand is nothing but a vessel that invites consumers to make their own seltzer or portable alcohol-infused drink. The “bold new innovation” is a clever commentary on the increasingly crowded category, but it’s a real product too, available on the Tito’s site for $20, with proceeds going to a nonprofit of the buyer’s choice. 4. Jack in the Box: Mark Hamill returns Agency: TBWA\Chiat\Day L.A. Jack in the Box has had its sights set on giving a larger role to its iconic mascot Jack Box, but in its first campaign with new creative agency of record TBWA\Chiat\Day L.A. the round-headed guy gets a famous wingman. The new push stars Mark Hamill, who happened to work at the fast feeder before landing his iconic role as Luke Skywalker in the “Star Wars” franchise. Hamill, so the story goes, was fired from his gig for making clown voices at the drive-thru, but he’s called back to repeat his bad behavior—and surprise fans in the process. Jordan Brand: Love, Paris Agency: Frosty Behold the most surreal ads we’ve seen from Jordan Brand. The “Love, Paris” series of short films promoted the Jordan Brand's collaboration with French soccer club Paris St. Germaine. Created with agency Frosty and directed by Smuggler’s Rubberband, it features four basketball-themed vignettes starring brand ambassadors Elias Konaté Dazi and Laura Kechician in off-kilter scenarios filled with magical realism. Skyn: Soft love for years to come Agency: Ultrasupernew While we’ve gotten quite tired of docu-style social experiments from brands—the kind made famous by the likes of Dove—this one from condom brand Skyn was entrancing, quite literally. The stunt for the Japanese market conceived with indie Tokyo-headquartered agency Ultrasupernew hypnotized a couple who had been married for a decade to think they’d never met before—and their reactions were riveting. The idea aims to rekindle first-love butterflies for even those in long-term relationships—and sell more condoms in the process. 1. Saatchi & Saatchi: Pregnant Man Agency: Saatchi & Saatchi London A famous ad from the 1970s becomes relevant once again in the hands of Saatchi & Saatchi. The agency had originally created the “Pregnant” ad in 1970 for the U.K.’s Health and Education Council to remind men that contraception is their responsibility, too. Now, in the wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade in the United States, Saatchi found good reason to resurrect the ad, this time putting Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, known for his opposition to abortion rights, in the starring role.
