Since launching six years ago, prebiotic soda brand Olipop has become a Gen Z favorite as its influencer partnerships and recipe content series on TikTok modernize the soda space.

In May, the brand featured singer Camila Cabello, who is an Olipop investor, in a commercial, as part of a collaborative campaign called “Real Love Makes Us.” The messaging centers around the singer's love for her family.
Besides Olipop’s social media content, the low-sugar, low-calorie soda has also become popular for its variety of flavors, such as Vintage Cola, Orange Squeeze and Cherry Vanilla. Olipop’s root beer recently exceeded A&W, the nation’s largest root beer supplier, in becoming the best-selling root beer in the country, according to SPINS, a retail data supplier.
Up next—more growth. In May, Steven Vigilante, Olipop’s director of growth and talent, said that the team is constantly looking to showcase the brand in environments that have traditionally been dominated by legacy soda brands as Olipop continues its expansion.
“Mini-bars, beach clubs, and hotel bars are the perfect next step for us as a brand and are a space that has historically not been available to ‘better-for-you’ brands,” Vigilante said in a statement.
