Austin-based Proof Advertising, which received Ad Age Small Agency Awards in 2012 and 2014, is celebrating its five-year anniversary with more staffers and an expanded account roster. Some clients include Subway, 3M, Del Frisco's Grille, SkinnyPop Popcorn, E&J Gallo's Apothic Wines and the American Heart Association. The 125-person agency helped raise awareness of Stubb's Bar-B-Q by highlighting its authentic Texas roots. After introducing the sauces to new markets and promoting it on social, Stubb's became the No. 4 national brand, the fastest-growing in the top 10 and the only one in the category with two-year double-digit percentage growth. And like the work for Stubb's, Proof emphasizes authenticity. "We say what we think and we mean what we say," said President Bryan Christian.
