Founded in a Stockholm in 1999, B Reel first drew the spotlight as one of the industry’s most innovative production players. In 2011, Ad Age named it our Production Company of the Year for its out-of-the-box, technologically sophisticated ideas that ranged from robotic experiences to social-media-fueled online films.
Over time, the company has evolved to become a full-service partner for brands, creating both digital-forward marketing campaigns and new products. The shop now boasts 100 staffers across five offices around the world that deliver an array of creative offerings. B-Reel’s Brooklyn, N.Y. hub takes the lead on brand strategy and communication, though it collaborates with other offices like Los Angeles, which heads up digital products and services.
In the past year, B-Reel’s projects included Google Earth Studio, a new animation product for the company that allows users to create striking 3D animations from Google Earth imagery; and an expansive social campaign that turned influencers’ Instagram accounts into TV-like channels to promote H&M’s designer collaboration with Moschino.
