How Tux Creative takes care of its employees and its local community

Los Angeles-based Tux transitioned to a four-day workweek two years ago and watched its turnover rate drop from 27% to 8%. But that's just one benefit of working at Tux, which gives back to the community with its Karma Foundation. Started in 2020, Tux uses a portion of its profits to fund local initiatives and host events through the foundation focused on causes including education, environmental conservation and LGBTQ rights. Tux also works with the Black Executive Leadership Initiative to support Black talent. The company has been B Corp certified since 2019. In February, it acquired L.A.-based Another Creative agency, doubling Tux’s U.S. team. Beyond the four-day workweek, the agency is invested in other ways to support its employees' professional development. “One of the most remarkable aspects of Tux is the sense of camaraderie and equality among team members,” said Mateusz Markiewicz, Tux’s graphic production lead, in the agency's entry. "Tux provided me with a coach who guided me through four transformative years, helping me develop into a leader. Now, I have the opportunity to pay it forward by coaching one of my team members to follow a similar path.”
