WeTransfer has teamed up with 88rising, the groundbreaking Asian music and arts collective, for one of a series of branded documentaries on contemporary culture aimed at underlining its brand to creatives.

The Work In Progress series, by Amsterdam-based Pi Studios, the entertainment company of agency We Are Pi, is aimed at celebrating the type of collaboration central to WeTransfer's role as a conduit for creatives to share and workshop their projects with one another. The first episode aired at the end of March, and centered on Björk and Jesse Kanda's creative relationship on the "Arisen My Senses" music video collaboration.

The 88rising installment is entralized around an interview with 88rising founder Sean Miyashiro (profiled here on AdAge.com) and filmed on a rare occasion that the whole 88rising crew were recording together. It explores the 88 process that has been responsible for bringing the likes of Rich Brian, Keith Ape, Higher Brothers, Niki and others to a mass audience.

A trailer for the episode can be seen here, and the whole episode can be viewed online. A further two "Work in Progress" films will air before the end of this year.
