Antarctica doesn't send any athletes to the Olympics, but, as this environmental PSA from Argentina points out, its existence is vital to the Games.

The ad, created by Y&R Argentina for Argentine wildlife foundation Fundacion Vida Silvestre, argues that without Antarctica, there would be no grass to train on, rivers to row on, wood to build goalposts with and more. It makes the case for adding a sixth ring to the Olympic symbol (which represents five continents), to symbolize the continent's importance.

The campaign launches the hashtag #addthering, and as well as this hero film will also include appeals from current and former Olympic athletes, TV and radio, print and an interactive website where you can register your support for the sixth ring.
