Apple's 'Shot on iPhone' push schools you on pet portraits
For latest in the campaign, brand taps photographer Jason Nocito to lead Today at Apple virtual studio session on how to capture your fur babies

Apple is turning its lens to adorable fur babies for the latest iteration of its “Shot on iPhone” campaign. New ads created with TBWA/Media Arts Lab showcase charming—and sometimes silly—black-and-white pet portraits shot by photographer Jason Nocito.
While Nocito is known for his photography of celebrities including George Clooney and Ariana Grande, the campaign shows how the everyday iPhone user can capture professional-looking shots of their beloved animal companions.
The ads were shot entirely with the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max with High-Key Light Mono Portrait Lighting. They’ll be running globally in out-of-home and digital out-of-home placements as well as in an Apple Instagram takeover and in a WeChat component.
To drive the idea home further, Nocito will be leading a virtual Today at Apple session instructing attendees on the best ways to shot your pets. The session will be held Thursday, July 29 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. EDT.
