Apple’s highly-lauded humorous series “The Underdogs” is back featuring a relentless, indecisive client, a string of Apple devices and a plane ticket to Thailand where the team searches for a manufacturer that can meet their product deadline.

The new episode comes about a year after its last—“Swiped”—which saw the group of workplace pals going head to head with tech thieves in a high-speed chase.

In its fifth installment of the Smuggler-produced series, the quirky colleagues embark on their first overseas business trip to Thailand, racing against the clock (and the odds) to launch a new product for a client that seems to have never-ending requests and feedback.

The episode titled “OOO (Out of Office),” follows the scrappy team as they navigate language barriers, lodging challenges, lost luggage and more while they search for a new packaging factory for their client.

Throughout the nine-minute film, Apple’s full suite of products—Mac, iPhone, iPad, and for the first time Vision Pro—are on full display, as the work pals use the technology to book a new hotel, alter budgets on the fly and create last minute design changes, 3D prototypes and bridge language gaps in real-time.

Along with Apple apps and devices throughout, features such as Translate, NameDrop, SharePlay, Object Capture, Markup, and AirDrop are displayed, positioning Apple as a platform for businesses, both in the office and remotely.

The spot, created by Apple-in house will appear on social, paid digital and on Apple’s website. An earlier episode of the series, “Escape from the Office,” won the Film Grand Prix at the 2022 Cannes Lions Festival.
