President Theodore Roosevelt's famous "Man in the Arena" speech forms the basis for this commercial from Cadillac, a teaser for its Oscar's broadcast spot for Sunday night. The ad, its first work out of Publicis NY and Publicis London, is filmed from inside a car as it drives around downtown New York -- significant as the company moves from Detroit to New York. The spot, directed by Doug Liman of Independent Films, doesn't mention Roosevelt by name, or the Cadillac brand.
