Language app Babbel introduced us to an adorable alien in a spot last year, and now, he's back in another humorous commercial for the brand by Wieden & Kennedy London.

Once again showing how hard it is to be an "alien" when you can't speak the language, the new spot also additionally focuses on how easy is it to learn a new language using Babbel: we see the alien, who's now apparently called "Alexi," doing his 15 minute a day lessons on the cross-trainer and relaxing in a bubble bath. So he goes from dinner-party embarrassment to telling a joke about a pineapple at a dinner party and getting everyone to laugh.

"People often doubt that they’re unable to regularly find the time to learn languages and are afraid of the supposedly mountainous task," says Sylvain Lierre, brand director at Babbel. "With the new ad campaign, Alexi demonstrates that you only need 15 minutes to complete a lesson, whether on the move or at home, making the process easy to fit into everyday life."

Jake Dypka from Independent directed this spot, following David Shane's debut for the brand last year that recently helped earn him a DGA nomination.
