Anheuser-Busch-owned BABE Wine is known for its unusual promotions. Earlier during the pandemic, for example, it teamed up with dating app Bumble to start a moving company to help those who became newly single during quarantine move away from their exes. Now, it wants to be there to hold your hand on Election Day.
The brand is offering a new “Election Night Survival Kit.” It includes a bottle of BABE’s “Polls Closing. Bottles Opening” red wine to help you celebrate your vote, but there’s also a four-pack of canned BABE Rosé to imbibe as you watch the polls close. But wait—there’s more—tissues to wipe away tears, a stress ball to clench and a pillow to scream into if things don’t go your way.
“At BABE, we’re all about being there for life’s experiences,” said Chelsea Phillips, general manager at BABE in a statement. “We know elections can be crazy AF. While you’ve done your research and are mailing in your ballot or casting your vote in-person, we’re here to remind you that no matter what happens, we’re all in this together.”
The kit sells online for $29.99 at drinkbabe.net. It sold out within two hours of its launch this morning, but BABE is restocking.
